Mission & Objectives

Asociația Ape Limpezi și Albastre is dedicated to protecting, preserving and restoring Romania's aquatic environment through education, civic engagement and concrete actions carried out in and for the water.

We believe that underwater sports are more than recreational activities – they are a direct tool for observing, understanding and protecting aquatic ecosystems. Through responsible interaction with the underwater environment, people become more aware of its fragility and more actively involved in protecting it.

The Association promotes a balanced relationship between people and water, based on respect, knowledge and responsibility, with the goal of keeping our waters clean, alive and accessible for future generations.

Our Main Objectives

• Protecting the aquatic environment through cleanup actions, monitoring and responsible involvement in underwater areas.
• Increasing environmental awareness and education regarding the impact of human activities on aquatic ecosystems.
• Actively involving the diving community as observers and protectors of the underwater environment.
• Promoting responsible behavior in and around water, both among practitioners of underwater activities and the general public.
• Developing educational programs for children and young people focused on water protection and biodiversity.
• Supporting equal access to educational and volunteering activities for people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
• Documenting and mapping underwater areas to identify pollution and areas requiring protection.
• Working with institutions, NGOs and specialists on joint environmental conservation projects.
• Promoting environmental volunteering as a form of active and responsible civic engagement.

Through these areas of action, Asociația Ape Limpezi și Albastre takes an active role in protecting the aquatic environment, using education, community involvement and underwater activities as tools for meaningful and lasting change.
